MAKAI junior Isobel Ireland flew the MAKAI flag in May at the 2026 Asia Pacific Sprint Cup - in Lake Tikitapu, New Zealand. Selected onto the U16 national team, at ONLY 13!!, she competed against paddlers from New Zealand, Japan and Singapore in the K1 200 and Mixed K2 200 events. She not only achieved a place in the K1 200m A final, but smashed her own PB. Well done Issy!!! We are so proud of you.
