At their first National Marathon Championships, in Canberra Apr 9-13, Issy, Skye & Kayden flew the MAKAI flag with pride, and posted some outstanding results.

Issy kept the family tradition alive and won the Coulthard Award for the best performing U16 Female paddler. And to top it off, and to continue what might now be a MAKAI tradition, Kayden also won the Coulthard Award for the best performing U16 Male paddler!!!
